Universidad Mundial Auditorium

Scope: Architectural Design, Construction Documents, and Construction.

Located within Universidad Mundial, this contemporary multipurpose auditorium was designed on a single level. With a capacity of 200 people, the program includes a lobby, projection booth, main hall, accessible stage with a ramp, dressing rooms, and storage areas, optimizing functionality for academic and cultural events. Formally, the building is characterized by high ceilings and enveloping architectural elements strategically designed to house and conceal technical sound, video, and direct and indirect lighting systems. The material palette combines the warmth of wood with the durability of porcelain tile, aluminum, and glass, creating a sober, acoustically efficient space aligned with the institution’s contemporary identity.
