Villas de San Lorenzo Residence II

Scope: Architectural Design and Construction Documents.

Located in the northern area of the city of La Paz, this residence is developed across two levels and includes four bedrooms, complemented by amenities and spaces for social interaction. The project culminates in an outdoor social area that integrates a terrace, barbecue area, and swimming pool, creating a direct connection with the main courtyard. The design is resolved through a strategy of spatial openness and verticality, incorporating double-height areas and large windows that promote natural light and cross ventilation. Cantilevered roof elements with pergolas provide solar protection and add dynamism to the composition. The material selection—exposed concrete, steel, glass, wood, granite, and porcelain tile—seeks to balance solidity, warmth, and functionality, consolidating a contemporary architectural language and a fluid relationship between interior and exterior spaces.
