Project

Centro Commercial and Residential Building

Scope: Architectural Design, Construction Documents, and Construction.

Located in downtown La Paz, the project focuses on the renovation of an existing mixed-use building, transforming it to project a contemporary image. Distributed across two levels plus a rooftop, it houses nine units divided between commercial spaces and residences, designed to maximize functionality and efficient use of space. The design is defined by a linear façade envelope that creates a dynamic visual contrast through the interplay of wood-look and concrete finishes. The material palette—aluminum, glass, metalwork, wood, porcelain tile, and granite—seeks a balance between warmth, durability, and a minimalist aesthetic. The project culminates in a shared rooftop terrace that allows users to enjoy panoramic views of the city.
