La Ribera Commercial Plaza

Scope: Architectural Design.

Located in the privileged coastal setting of La Ribera, this commercial plaza is designed around the identity and traditional elements of Mexican colonial architecture. The complex is organized on a ground level and a basement, accommodating a program of 16 commercial units. The spatial proposal is distinguished by landscaped terraces at ground level and a rooftop terrace, strategically designed to capture and frame natural views toward the Sea of Cortez. The building incorporates characteristic elements of the style, including arches, decorative moldings, thick walls, and pergolas that modulate sunlight. The finishes include flagstone, clay roof tiles, porcelain flooring, aluminum window and door systems, and glass, complemented by handcrafted wrought-iron details.
